Padppa Ste Cecile Group's story

PADPPA STE CECILE group is made up of three persons who live in the same house in Benin. The group leader, named Justine, is the one raising her hand in the photograph. She's 49 years old and lives in Benin. She's a widow with four children, out of whom she still has to support two. Some of the children attend school. Justine never went to school. To provide for herself and for her children, she's been selling fresh fish for 20 years. She gets her supplies on the banks of Benin's lakes. In order to meet customer demand and increase her revenue and income, she's seeking a third loan from Kiva's parter, ALIDé, together with the other members of PADPPA STE CECILE group. The first two loans were repaid without problems.
