Lazare is 59 years old. He is a merchant and lives in the town of Nyamugari in the center of the country, in the province of Gitega. He has been selling food products to a restaurant for seven years. He sold food products from a shop before beginning this type of work. He attended school up to the 6th year of primary studies. He is the father of 13 children; the oldest is 36 years old and the youngest is five.

The loan of 100,000 Burundi francs that he will get will allow him to increase his working capital by buying a larger quantity of food products to be used in the restaurant. This will mean large profits for him.
He is a member of the community group « TURIBAMWE».
