Deggo 2 Group's story

The Deggo 2 solidarity group was formed on June 16, 2009. It is made up of 20 women from the same village. Their main businesses are agriculture and livestock raising.

Aminata, who is standing at far right in the picture, is the group leader. She is 42 years old, married and a mother of four children. Her business is raising sheep. She has a good deal of experience doing business in this sector.

Her loan will enable her purchase more sheep to add to her holdings.

Her goal is to purchase cattle and help contribute to covering the family’s expenses.
