Zina is from the village of Tsveri, East Georgia. She lives with her husband Amiran.
Zina and Amiran earn their living through agriculture. They own 1.3 hectares of land, where tomatoes, cabbages, onions, haricot beans, cherries and berries are grown. They sell harvested products locally to greengrocery retailers. The total average income of the family is 1000 laris per month.
Zina and Amiran decided to start a dairy farm in addition to their other farming activities. Zina requested credit for construction of a cattle shed. After the harvest season, with the earned money they will purchase 2 milk cows. Zina will produce cheese and sell it on the local open market. The new business initiative will increase the income of the family by 30-40%. Zina and Amiran will improve their living conditions.
