Benigno's story

Benigno is 53, and lives with his family in their own house, which has both water and electricity. It is located in Oyotún district, which is part of Chiclayo province. This area is known for farming and livestock-raising.

Benigno is a farmer, and has his own land, where he grows coffee and cacao. Once he harvests his crops, he sells them in the different markets of Chiclayo, and in this way he is able to earn income to cover his household costs.

He has applied to Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 3000 nuevos soles, in order to buy fertilizers to improve his land and crops. His aim is to sell them at a better price to the merchants, and thereby improve his finances.

Benigno is a man who is concerned about improving his business, and having a few home comforts to offer his wife.
