A loan of $800 helped to buy lights, microphones, speakers, and music.

Laura Nelida's story

The member belongs to the “Comuzone II” Communal Bank, located in the district of Huanchac, province of Cusco, department of Cusco.
Laura is 53 years old. She is unmarried and has five children. The two youngest children live with her and she supports them with their education.

She is engaged in the administration, collection of accounts receivable, and promotion of her small business. She has been an active member of the communal bank for the past seven years. Membership has enabled her to save and take out loans from the bank. Through the same means, she has invested in her light and sound business. With the help of her sons, she distributes business cards offering her light and sound services for various events in the city and the provinces.

She is also in her last year of study for her professional accounting degree. This business presented the opportunity to study accounting so that she could handle the bills herself. Laura wishes to invest in the purchase of speakers, lights, the latest music, and a new microphone in order to improve her service. She is requesting the loan to purchase lights, new microphones, speakers, and music.

Laura is grateful for the support offered and also promises to make her payments in a disciplined manner.
