Hilda's story

Hilda was born in the province of Urubamba (Cusco, Peru). She is 24 and is in a common-law marriage. From this relationship, she has one child. Currently, she lives in the city where she was born and where she works. She sells clothing in one of the shopping centers of Urubamba city. She has had this business for five years and it is going very well for her thanks to the effort that she puts into her work.

The “Nueva Visión de Urubamba” ["New Vision of Urubamba"] meets every month in Urubamba city (Cusco, Peru). Cusco is known for being a very touristy area, as well as a business center. It is known for the traditional Inti Raymi festival and because it is home to one of the seven wonders of the world: Machu Picchu.
