A loan of $925 helped to carry out maintenance work on the farming equipment that he hires out.

Manuel's story

55-year-old Manuel lives with his family in his own home which has water and electricity. His home is located in Ferreñafe district, in Lambayeque department. This area is noted for its farming, livestock raising and tourism.

Manuel provides a service hiring out equipment for making furrows in farmland. He has been in this business for several years and is well known in his area as there are very few people in this line of work. He uses the income that he makes to cover his family's daily needs.

Manuel has requested a loan for 2,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa so that he can carry out maintenance work on the equipment that he hires out. This will enable him to continue working optimally as he has up to now. He will use the profits he makes to repay his loan and improve his quality of life. Manuel is a hard-working, polite and responsible man who would like his family to do well and for his children to achieve their goals.
