Franklin Michael's story

Franklin Michael, 21, is single and has no children; he lives with his parents in Ventanas Canton, Los Ríos Province.

The members of the “Caminando Hacia el Futuro” (Heading toward the Future) communal bank which is located in Jesús de Gran Poder are short cycle corn and rice farmers.

Franklin is a corn and rice farmer. He buys his supplies at Marlín supply center and his sales are also there and in Ventanas.

He asks for the loan to buy seeds, supplies, liquids, urea and fertilizers for his crops. Support from the loan will help him economically to meet his needs. He faces challenges like crop diseases and infestations. His dream is to be able to own his own land to work better. In his spare time he likes to go on excursions and to dedicate more time to work.
