A loan of $825 helped a member to buy ingredients like meat, tortillas, and oil, among others to make tacos.

El Tesoro Group's story

Gloria Isabel lives in a very large neighborhood where they celebrate the Fiesta de Santo Domingo on the 24th and 25th of April. They celebrate in a big way because this community has a very pretty former convent.

Gloria is married to Jorge Enrique, and they have three children who are still their responsibility.

This is the first time she has requested a loan from the Fundación. The loan is to buy ingredients to make tacos. She has been practicing this business activity for six months. She says that it is going very well for her because she has had a good result.

The inspiration for this business started because she wanted to help her husband with the household income. That way she also gives her little family what is most needed. Her motive for working is to get ahead.

What she wishes for most of all is that with the loan she will be able to increase the income from her small business. Also, she wishes to save in order to buy a place where she is able to sell more comfortably.

The members of this group are:

Glafira will use the loan to buy the ingredients to make bread.

Abinael will buy ingredients to make tamales.

In this group: Gloria Isabel, Glafira, Abinael
