A loan of $750 helped to buy more animals and the appropriate feed.

Magaly's story

Magaly is 28 years old and lives with her husband and children in their own home. They receive services such as running water and electricity. Magaly resides in the rural section of the District of Illimo, which is part of the Department of Lambayeque. This area is known for its businesses involving agriculture and livestock breeding.

Magaly has been raising and selling pigs for a few years. The animals are kept in a pen behind her house and fed a diet of balanced feed. Once the animals have reached optimal growth, she offers them for sale to her customers. With the income she earns, Magaly is able to cover her household expenses.

She is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 2000 PEN to buy more animals, such as chickens, and the appropriate balanced feed. As soon as the animals are fattened, Magaly will sell them at different markets in the area in hopes of obtaining the best price. This will allow her to obtain more income so that she can have a better quality of life. Magaly is a hardworking and responsible person. Her only wish is for her family to move forward.
