A loan of $450 helped to buy a variety of garments to meet customer demand.

Guissella Ivania's story

Doña Guissella is a merchant and sells new clothing for a living. She is married and has three children and her husband is working the United States. This situation is difficult for her but it was the only way the family could get ahead.

She started her business with money her husband gave her. Her subsequent financing has been through Afodenic enabling her to buy more stylish, brand name clothing. She has been able to reach a phase of stability after eleven loan cycles.

She plans to use the new loan to buy women's and men's clothing and cosmetics in order to keep her customer base. Part of her sales come from orders she already has received and she wants to keep her customers satisfied.

Her goal is to increase sales and continue supporting her family.
