A loan of $725 helped to buy fruit and vegetables.

Anastacia's story

Señora Anastasia lives in a town where people work from a very early age. She is in a common-law marriage with Señor Fabían and with whom she has 3 children, all minors. She is asking for a second loan and is thinking of using it to buy fruit and vegetables. As she has been in this business for only a short time, she says that it is going well as it gives her a good income. The reason for her starting the business was her husband as with the two of them working it meant more income. This means they can give their growing children what they need.

What she wants most of all is to continue to work in this small business so that with time their quality of life can improve and to have a place where she can sew blankets, another activity she practices.
