Thol is 37 years old. She is a widow with one child living under her care. She is a hardworking woman. Thol has been generating her income by raising pigs. From this business, she earns approximately $5USD each day.
Thol would like to expand her business but lacks capital. She wishes to request some funds to buy concentrated feed for fattening her pigs. She wants to increase her business so that her micro-enterprise will grow more each day through this loan. This will allow her to provide her customers with the best product whenever her pigs are ready to be sold. Thol’s business was started as a new source of revenue so that she could improve the quality of life for her family and provide the best education for her child. This is the first loan with Kiva and the fourth loan with HKL partner. She said that becoming a member of this micro-finance group was an excellent decision because obtaining a loan is an easier, faster process and has a low interest rate. She is very grateful to all kind lenders that always help her family.
