Rogers's story

Rogers is 27 years old and lives in the town of Masidi in the Mbarara region of Uganda. He is married and has 2 children. All of his children are currently in school. Rogers has a business of a retail shop that sells spare parts, which he has had for 4 years.

To help expand his business, Rogers has requested a loan of 1,500,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase spare parts for resale. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Rogers hopes to generate greater profits and pay school fees for his children. In the future, Rogers hopes to expand his business. Rogers is a member of BRAC’s Small enterprise (SEP) program, which has helped his prospects for the future by improving his business.
