Karurama Group's story

Esperance is a businesswoman of 30 who lives in the commune of Rugombo in the province de Cibitoke in the west of Burundi. She has been selling consumable foodstuffs in a restaurant for three years. She studied up to the sixth year of primary school. She is the mother of two children; both are enrolled in school. She is on her fourth community loan with Turame.

She is requesting this Kiva loan to grow her working capital by buying large quantities of foodstuffs for her restaurant so as to able to put aside more in savings.

She is a member of the solidarity group «KARURAMA».
