A loan of $900 helped to buy 15 head of sheep.

Gory's story

This borrower is a married man, the father of four children, who all attend school. His parents passed down to him a herd of cows that he maintains in order to leave to his children, who should in turn do the same. This is why, to support his family, he is compelled to buy more animals, fatten them, and sell them to obtain financing. He buys sheep from the weekly markets, feeds them for four months, and then sells them. As the sheep festival (Tabaski) approaches, he is requesting a loan of 400,000 francs from U-IMCEC to buy 15 head of sheep. His ambition is to be a livestock farmer.
