Lucerito De Jose Galvez Group's story

Isabel is 57 and has two children, the youngest of which is still in her care. For over eight years she has been selling tid-bits and snacks near the community park which is in a central location. She began helping her mother who had the same business, so she had ample experience when she decided to set up her own activity. Isabel is a hard-working woman who has done her best to proviD. for her children. She is a single mother but this has not been an obstacle in her daily struggle.

Isabel's dream is for her children to become professionals and for her business to grow. She has requested a loan to buy flour, meat, sugar and other items. She is a member of the communal bank "Lucerito D. José Gálvez" which is comprised of 11 responsible members. They are grateful to the KIVA lenders and are committed to continue working well. Members Jimmy and Bertha could not be present for the picture because of work.
