A loan of $1,000 helped to buy 20 cartons of frozen fish.

Adjouavi Nina's story

Nina is married and the mother of three children who are all enrolled in school. Her husband works in a local enterprise. Together the couple are managing to cover their household expenses.

Nina is a businesswoman. She has been selling frozen fish and meat for 11 years. Her sales are made out of her home. She employs a young woman who helps her in her business. Her products are sold to owners of restaurants and to housewives in her area and around her home. She buys her goods from a local business selling frozen foods, little by little as she sells her stock.

Nina requested and has been granted a small loan from FINADEV in order to stock up on a sufficient quantity of goods to be able to satisfy the demand of her clientele. The supplementary revenue produced by this loan will permit her to make a greater financial contribution to her household and thus contribute to the well-being of her children and those near and dear to her.
