A loan of $900 helped a member purchase fruits and vegetables.

Zurakan's Group's story

Zurakan is the treasurer of this group. She is 49 years old and unfortunately is a widow. She has raised five children, all of whom are employed.

Ten years ago, with an initial investment of 5000 soms, Zurakan started to sell fruits and vegetables at the market. The retail trade of fruits and vegetables brings her enough money to meet her daily needs. She applied for this loan because she needs additional funds to increase the commodity turnover for her business. With the money received from the loan, Zurakan will purchase more fruits and vegetables to sell. In the future, with the profits gained from the business she plans to purchase a container.
