A loan of $375 helped to buy clothes.

Sandra's story

Sandra, 31, lives with her partner in her parents’ house with them and her siblings. Sandra’s work consists in going out seeking customers (friends and relatives) to sell them clothes. She has a supplier that sends her the best articles of clothing from the city of Lima. Sandra takes care of selling them here in her city among her friends and relatives; she collects weekly payments. She’s only been in business a few months. She works alone and expects to be able to grow gradually in the business. What she likes about it is that she feels comfortable because it’s independent and she can use her time however she likes. She hopes not to run into debtors in the future.

This is the second loan between Sandra and MFP. She feels very comfortable in her group because she belongs to one of the most solid groups in the institution. She hopes to be able to continue working with the institution because it pleases her that they charge low interest rates and give her the opportunity to get ahead on her own. She will use the requested 1000 soles to buy merchandise to stay in business since she hopes to be able to grow in this business.
