A loan of $800 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Baragul's Group's story

Baragul is the leader of this group. She is 59 and married to a veterinarian. Together they have raised three daughters and two sons. The daughters are married and the sons are working in Russia. Eight years ago, with an initial investment of 12000 soms, Baragul started to breed livestock. Reselling livestock allows her to contribute an additional 4000 soms to the family budget. She has applied for a loan because she needs additional funds to increase her number of livestock. In the future, Baragul hopes to see her sons wed.
