A loan of $625 helped to buy meat, seasonings, eggs and the like to prepare food.

Mirta's story

Ms Mirta is from the city of Coronel Oviedo. She is a very self-sacrificing woman as since from a very early age she had to work to support her parents. She sells food such as empanadas and wiener schnitzels at the international interchange. She now has only her mother to support as her father, who used to live with them, died recently.

She starts work very early, from approximately 4 o'clock in the morning, to make the empanadas and wiener schnitzels that she sells to her customers. Most of her clients are taxi drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers from the interchange. They always buy their food from her. One of her dreams is to have a bar where she can continue to serve people the food she prepares.

She wants to buy meat, seasonings, eggs and the other ingredients necessary for her to make the food she sells. This is why she is asking for the loan. She is grateful to the Fundación for the opportunity this gives her.
