Agnes's story

Agnes is 35 years old and married to Julius. She has been running a green grocer business for the past ten years with a monthly income of 6,000 Kenyan shillings (KES), which she uses to support her business and family. Agnes is applying for her fourth loan with KADET after repaying the previous loans successfully. She has been loaned 40,000 KES, which she will use to buy kale, cabbages and green maize to add to her business. With the anticipated profit from the business, she will educate her children. Her hopes and dreams are to educate her children up to university level and build premises to run her business.
