A loan of $750 helped to purchase more pop for her business.

Dolibe's story

Dolibe is 59. She is a married mother of four grown children who have their own families. She lives with her husband and one daughter in her own home which they worked hard to be able to buy. Dolibe sells drinks. She also has other businesses; she sells cheese, food and bread. She cannot sell bread at the moment because her oven is in need of repair. She works from home, alone, since her husband and daughter work outsiD. of the home. She has done this work for two years, and it has allowed her to have time and an extra income for her home. She likes that her business allows her to have time to herself. Because of the heat, she always has customers looking for pop and ice cream. Dolibe would really like to expand her business in the future, as well as to be able to fix her oven so that she can continue making more income. This is her sixteenth loan from MFP. She hopes to be able to continue working with MFP, and she is very grateful that they give her the confidence to be able to get herself ahead. The interest rates are very low and allow her to continue working without having to get too far in debt. With the 2000 requested soles, she will purchase more pop, which she needs in order to continue with her business.
