Gulmira's Group's story

Gulmira is the leader of this group. She is 48 and married to a farmer. Together with her husband she has a daughter, who is sixteen and studies at school. Seven years ago with an initial investment of 40,000 soms the family started to breed cattle. They earn their livelihood by reselling cattle after fattening; the monthly profit from this activity is about 5,000 soms. With money received from the loan, Gulmira wants to purchase more cattle for breeding. In the future, with the profits gained from cattle breeding, she wants to save money for purchasing a vehicle.
