A loan of $450 helped to buy chicken feed.

Rosa Maclovia's story

Sra. Rosa is a member of the Sector 3 Maria communal bank. She lives in the outskirts of the city of Cuenca. This city has a cold climate and its people are very charismatic, friendly and maintain their culture and traditions. The architecture of Cuenca is a mix of colonial and modern, which makes it a very special place.

Rosa is 39, married and has 4 children who are 18, 16, 14 and 12 years of age. All of her children are in school in the city. Her husband works in construction as a bricklayer. The house they live in is their own and is a product of their union.

Sra. Rosa is a housewife and, as she spends her days at home, she also raises chickens and guinea pigs which she sells in the city or in her neighborhood.

This is her second loan as a member of the communal bank and she will use it to buy chicken feed.

Her goal is to have cattle and to expand her animal raising business.
