The UNIDO SOMOS (We Are United) communal bank is located in the El Marañón precinct of Puerto Pechiche parish, which is in Pueblo Viejo canton. This communal bank works in agriculture, sowing corn, rice and beans on the short growth cycle (less than six months).

Rosaura works in agriculture, growing corn, rice and beans. She buys her products at the Karlita agricultural supply center and sells at Castillo shopping center. She is asking for the loan to sow corn, rice and beans and to buy seeds, urea, farm supplies and organic and liquid fertilizers for the crops.

The loan will give Rosaura the financial help to provide for her needs. Facing challenges like pests, diseases, and weather changes will be easier with the loan's help because she will be able to buy the supplies she needs.

Rosaura's dream is to buy land that she can plant and produce much more. She likes to play sports in her free time.
