A loan of $925 helped to pay for maintenance of her vehicle and to buy cosmetics.

Elizabeth's story

Sra. Elizabeth is a member of the Communal Bank “Noche de Luna II” (Night of the Moon II) which is located in the District of Tarapoto, Province and Department of San Martín. She is 27 years old, in a common-law relationship, and has a one-year-old son. Elizabeth sells cosmetics from different beauty product lines and has an established customer base. In addition, she owns a motorcar for providing transportation services around the city. Both of these activities generate plenty of income.

This new loan of 2500 PEN will be used to pay for maintenance, such as tires for her vehicle. Elizabeth also wants to buy more cosmetics to add to her inventory such as colognes, perfumes, talcum powders, and deodorants. She is a hardworking woman. Her dream is to someday open a restaurant that serves Creole dishes and a shop for renting out motorcars. Elizabeth is very grateful to Manuela Ramos for helping women like her to have opportunities to earn more income and to improve the quality of life of their families.
