Félix Obtavio is 37 and lives with his common-law wife and their two children, ages 11 and 7, in Pueblo Viejo Canton.

The members of the Unidos Somos Communal Bank are located in the Marañón area of Puerto Pechiche Parish in Pueblo Viejo Canton. This solidarity group works in short-growth cycle agriculture, growing corn, rice, and beans.

Félix works in agriculture, planting corn, rice, and beans. He buys his products from Comercial Agroinsumos Karlita and sells them in Comercial Castillo.

He is requesting the loan to plant corn, rice, and beans, and to buy supplies and fertilizer for the crops. The support from the loan would help him economically to supplement his needs in confronting challenges like disease, illness, and changes in the weather. His dream is to expand the business.
