A loan of $750 helped to buy sets of dining tables and chairs, dishes, glasses and pots.

Carmen Delpilar's story

Carmen is a member of the “Las Colinas del Distrito Yarinacocha” (The Hills of Yarinacocha District) in Ucayali Department. She’s 41 years old, married and has two children. Her husband works as a mechanic.

She’s been working with the Manuela Ramos Movement for three years. She sells breakfasts from 6am to 10am; she has an employee that helps with customer service.

She will use her new, PEN 2000, loan to buy three sets of dining tables and chairs to provide more comfort for her customers. She will also buy flat dishes, glasses, a bucket for beverages and two medium pots.

With her income she’ll be able to help her husband with her children’s school expenses and contribute to the entire family’s wellbeing.

She likes the educational sessions the members get from their advisors and is very grateful to Manuela Ramos for the opportunities it has provided and for everything she’s accomplished to date.
