A loan of $425 helped to buy and sell women's, men's, and children's clothing.

Angelica's story

Angélica is 20 years old and married. She doesn’t have any children yet because she wants to own her own home and have her business established so she can give them a good quality of life. She studied up to the third year in preparatory school and says that she couldn’t continue with her studies because she married very young and her husband didn’t let her study any longer.

She has had a clothing stand for three years and is requesting the loan to restock women’s, children’s and men’s clothing such as t-shirts, jeans, jackets, and outfits for children and women. At this time, though, she also wants to buy socks for little girls and underwear for little boys because the new school term is about to start and she wants to sell their parents items for the school uniforms the students need. She will go to the city of Moroleón Guanajuato to stock up as this city offers low prices for clothing and is convenient for her because she will be able to earn a bit more profit when she resells. Angélica will go out and offer her clothing to acquaintances in their homes because she doesn’t have an established stand. Her dream is to later make or rent a store to sell her clothing.
