A loan of $450 helped to buy rice, sugar, oil, beans, soap at wholesale to stock up her business.

Martha Lorena's story

Señora Martha is 39 years old. She was born in the department of Granada, is married, works in retail, and is the mother of three children. She has a distributorship of food and bulk grains, which she has been doing for about three years. She started when she was 36, and followed this line of business because it had been started by her sister whom she initially helped out for several years Ultimately she left, it being time for her first business. She sells bulk grains from a location in the municipal market in the city of Granada.

Doña Martha is requesting the loan to buy rice, sugar, oil, beans, and soap at wholesale to stock up her business so that it will help her to diversify her products and provide a better quality of service for her customers.

One of her goals is to have a chain of distributorships for bulk grains.
