A loan of $375 helped to purchase a snow cone machine.

Aura Luz's story

Mrs. Aura is a member of the Mujeres Hacia Adelante Communal Bank in the Ucayali department. She is 55, married, and has five grown children.
She has taken out loans from Manuela Ramos for two years. She sells drinks outsiD. of the city's Coliseo Cerrado. She does this work with one of her two daughters.
She will invest her new loan of PEN 1,000 in the purchase of a snow cone machine in order to be able to sell snow cones as well. Because of the heat, this is a great business.
Her husband is the one who maintains the household and she is happy to have her own business. Aura invests her income in what she deems appropriate.
Thanks to Manuela Ramos, which gave her the opportunity to open her own business, she can support her family.
