Jack's story

Jack is a 32-year-old father of three children. He sells foods such as Irish potatoes, beans and maize in one of the busiest food markets in Kyenjojo.

Jack generates about 40,000 UGX per week as profits from the food sales business that he has operated for exactly two years now. He is also involved in farming where he grows maize and bananas.

This hardworking trader has a dream of expanding his business and eventually being able to have stability in his finances and family. With his Kiva loan, Jack plans to buy more foods like maize, beans and Irish potatoes to re-sell.
