Security Group's story

Mainda, who is in her mid 30s, is married with three children who go to school. She takes care of her mother as well. She has been running a general store for four years now. She works from 8 a.m to 9 p.m. daily and is able to make a small monthly profit. This will be her 4th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to run and expand her general store and bought a Bajaji house expenses. She has paid back all of her loans successfully. She wants a loan to start another business of selling tea masala (containing ingredients cardamon, cinnamon, gider and tea). Her dream is to one day be able to build her own house. She will share this loan with her loan group "Security" which has a total of 15 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
