Margaret's story

Margaret lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with five children and all go to school. She has two additional family members. She has a stall at the market selling tomatoes and onions. She has been in business for the last three years. She works seven days a week. She has requested a loan of 500,000 from MCDT SACCO to buy more baskets of onions, tomatoes, and garlic. Her inspirational goal is to get her own shop at her home where her customers meet her. Her major business challenges include transportation and seasonality. She lives in a rented house and her family has access to piped water and electricity. Her monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
