A loan of $3,000 helped to purchase more grocery goods for the store.

Michleen's story

Michleen is a 56-year-old woman, married, with three sons and one daughter. One of her sons works as a teacher with a low salary. Michleen lives in Biet Sahour near Bethlehem city in Palestine. She owns a grocery store that sells grocery goods such as sugar, frozen food, rice, etc.

Michleen wants to purchase more grocery goods for her store but she hasn't enough cash to pay, so she needs to take a loan of amount $3,000 from FATEN.

When Michleen takes the loan, that is repaid on a monthly basis, she will be able to increase the number of grocery items she has in the store and also has got more options for consumers to choose from and buy. That will increase her income and lead her to change her life positively. Michleen is photographed in her grocery store.
