Kerto Sato Group's story

Ni Ketut lives in Melaya, West Bali. She is married and has one daughter who is already married. Her husband works as a carpenter. Ni Ketut often helps her husband. In addition, she raises pigs in her yard to supplement her family’s income. She has been raising pigs for eight years. Ni Ketut is the head of the Kerto Sato group, which is made up of 10 neighbors from the same village. This is the group’s second loan with MUK. With the Rp 1,500,000 that Ni Ketut receives, she will purchase one sow for pig breeding. She hopes that the sow will have many piglets, which she will then be able to raise and sell.
