A loan of $4,775 helped a member to buy seasonal clothes to later sell.

Nuevo Horizonte Group's story

This group is called “Nuevo Horizonte” (New Horizon). It emerged as a result of contact with the women with the Fundación. The group is in its 13th cycle. It has been working with the Fundacón since 2007. It currently has 18 members. They all work in an atmosphere of respect, solidarity, and mutual help. They want to continue in the program. That is why their day to day purpose is to overcome their own limitations.

Iris, a seamstress, is one of the members of the group. Thanks to this work she has been able to help with the family expenses. She wants her family to live a decent and proper life without experiencing the limitations that she endured. She says that she wants a place where she can sell garments to her customers.

She is requesting the loan to buy seasonal clothing for later sale. She now has a lot of customer orders that she would like to fill. She is very hopeful about the loan because receiving it will be a big help.
