A loan of $2,550 helped a member to buy meat, chicken, vegetables and other food ingredients.

San Blas De Arroyo Group's story

The ladies from this group are from the city of Caacupé where they are all friends and neighbors. They got together in an effort to generate extra income for their families. Currently there are 16 members and they are in their second cycle of the women entrepreneurs' program at the Fundación Paraguaya.

Mrs. Zunilda lives with her husband and children and works selling different types of food including empanadas (pies), sandwiches and croquettes. She says that thanks to her work she has been able to help her husband cover the household expenses and provide for their children. She hopes that one day they will become professionals and serve their society and community.

She is requesting a loan to continue her microbusiness, and will buy meat, chicken, vegetables, bread and other food ingredients. She is grateful to the Fundación for the opportunity to have access to a loan that will be very helpful to her.
