A loan of $750 helped to buy hammocks, sheets, and other things for future sales.

Aurelio's story

Aurelio is a native of the city of Carapeguá. He is 52 years old, has been married for more than 20 years to Isidra, and they have three already older children.

From an early age he began to sell bedspreads that he himself produced together with his mother. After 8 years he became independent and began to work on his own. He makes a living selling hammocks, blankets, and handmade sheets. He takes his products to sell in the neighboring cities of Carapeguá, using his own motorcycle as a means of transportation. Thanks to this work he managed to build a modest house for his family and was able to make his home more comfortable. He says that all the sacrifice he makes is to give his family a good, respectable life.

He is requesting the loan to buy hammocks, blankets, and sheets since he has many orders for these products and he would like to fulfill his customers' demands. He is thankful to the Fundación for the opportunity they have given him.
