Quality Group's story

Secilia, who is in her early 20s, is single and has one child who attends school. She has been selling Baobab fruit at wholesale price for three years now. She works from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be her third loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to increase her stock and also to care for her child. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She hopes for a loan to buy more Baobab fruit. Her dream is to one day be able to open a shop for cosmetics.

She will share this loan with her loan group "Quality," which has a total of 21 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
