Tunjung Wiguna Group's story

Ni Ketut is 42 years old and lives in Melaya, West Bali. Ni Ketut often helps her husband. She also raises pigs in her yard to supplement her family’s income. She has been raising pigs for eight years.

Ni Ketut is the head of the Tunjung Wiguna group, which is made up of 10 neighbors from the same village. This is the group’s third loan with MUK. With the Rp 1,500,000 that Ni Ketut receives, she will purchase three or four piglets and pig feed. She plans to sell the piglets after six months for use as pork. With her earnings, she plans to purchase more pigs. With the income from her pig raising, she hopes to be able to save for her children's future.
