A loan of $1,100 helped to buy sacks of rice, sugar, milk and other goods.

Reina's story

Riena is 39 years old. She is a friendly, simple and hard-working woman. She lives in her own home with her 40-year-old husband Edwin and her dear 5-year-old son Cristian, who she hopes to provide with a better future. Reina’s grocery shop is one of the busiest in the town of Quimbiri. Her great charisma and the kindness in her customer service have made her the favorite among her neighbors, who do not hesitate to make their purchases starting very early, since they know that hers is the first store to open and the last one to close. What she likes the most about her job is giving advice to her customers about the quality and variety of every product. She has been in this business for 10 years, and what she considers the most difficult is having to stay in her store all day waiting for customers, since this is what her income is dependent on – thanks to the sale of her merchandise. Reina bought a variety of goods for her home and, for the good of her business, she is requesting the loan to be able to buy the necessary provisions for her sales point. This will be Reina’s third loan and she is very happy to know that she will once again have your support to continue prospering. She is an active member in her communal bank. With the three thousand new Peruvian soles requested, she will buy provisions for her grocery store: sacks of rice, sugar, milk and other goods.
