A loan of $550 helped to buy supplies and ingredients.

Cinthia's story

Cinthia is a happy and dynamic 27 year old woman. She’s the single mother of her young son and lives in a home of her own, along with her sisters, her mother, and her son. Cinthia begins work early in the morning, when she goes to the market to buy supplies for her business. She sells food and breakfast from her mother’s house and has been doing so for about six years. Her mother is also a member of Cinthia’s group. What she likes about her work is that she always has an income. There is plenty of business and above all it gives her time to do other things. Cinthia hopes to continue counting on the institution’s assistance so that she can fix up her place of business and expand her restaurant. This will be her fourth loan through MFP and she hopes to be able to continue working and continue having the opportunity to invest. She’s a member of a very good group and is happy because they all get along. She will use the money from this 1,500 PEN loan to buy supplies and ingredients for her business and be able to continue working so that she can make her loan payments to the institution.
