Kaneez's story

Kaneez sews clothes part-time to support her family financially. She is very good at her work and receives regular orders every month. She is also a very responsible person by nature and carries out her responsibilities as a mother and a wife very well.

Her husband is a retired railway employee and receives a pension every month.

She has two sons and two daughters. Three of them are studying in a local school and getting their education. Her elder son operates a mobile phone shop. He left his education after completing matriculation and started this business. Through his shop he sells used and new mobile phones and accessories. Her elder daughter does embroidery along with her studies to pay her education fees.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah because her son wants to buy mobile phones and accessories to expand his business. This will help him improve his sales and increase his profits.

He has been operating his business for the past two years and he has obtained a good reputation in this short time period among his customers. Kaneez hopes that after the loan investment his business will be improved further.
