A loan of $1,000 helped to build a storage shed.

Sandra's story

Sandra and her husband, Elio, have been married for many years. They live in the city of Santa Cruz’s Oeste zone. They have an anticrético (a transaction not available in the U.S. whereby a property owner requests a "loan" from you in exchange for housing, which must be paid back to you at the end of your contract. If your loan is not repaid, the property owner loses the property to you) and have been living there for over three years. The family is composed of her two children, one in secondary school and the other who is a minor.

Sandra is a client with good credit history. She manufactures straw mattresses in two sizes that she sells at the La Ramada market. She sells on average 20 mattresses weekly. Her husband also manufactures mattresses.

The loan is to buy building materials and supplies to expand her storage shed and be able to produce more mattresses to have in stock and so that her merchandise will be safe from changes in the weather (rain, sun, wind storms, etc.)
