Prossy is a single mother of two children (they are twins). She sells used clothes for a living. She earns about shs 30,000 ($18 USD) in profits each week. Prossy wants to use the extra profits she earns to start a piggery business. Christine wants to use the loan to purchase more goods for her retail shop. Roy has a beauty salon and wants to use the loan to buy hair weaves and braids.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
