A loan of $3,450 helped a member to buy meat, dairy products and bakery items used to prepare the food she make.

Tecoporave Rekavo Group's story

In the city of Asunción, 13 friends and neighbours from the city join forces, from which is born the communal bank called Tecoporave Rekavo. Tecoporave Rekavo is currently in its 4th cycle of the program run by Fundación Paraguaya for enterprising women. They joined forces for the purpose of generating income for their families. In addition, they also see it as an opportunity for growth, not only in the economic sense but also at the personal level.

Mrs Maria sells food. She herself says that she has a very good client base which generates a very good income. She says that a lot of people like the food she prepares, as it is very tasty. One of her dreams is to own a diner where more people can enjoy the food she prepares.

She is asking for a loan to buy meat, seasonings, dairy products, bakery items and other such necessary items to produce the food she makes.
